Music Tasmania

This group featuring two violins, cello, classical guitar and recorder was established to play Early Music including Medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque music. They played for several years both for concerts, recitals and dances.
Saltarello, however, is no longer an active group.

The fine early music group Harlequin, (see The Folk Federation of Tasmania's Web Site for contact details) have taken over from Saltarello as Tasmania's specialists in early music for dances.
Having said that, Marjorie and Steve Gadd continue to play this repertoire as a duet, further the full band may be able to be reassembled for concerts and special performances if requested.
